Most content doesn’t fail because it’s bad. It fails because it’s placed badly.
Teams spend all their time on the main piece, then cut it down and push it everywhere the same way. Different channels get treated like different shapes, not different contexts. But people show up to each platform with a different mindset. What works in one place doesn’t carry over just because it fits the format. If you don’t respect that, the work gets ignored.
Distribution isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the idea.
Each channel answers a different question – what’s new, what’s useful, what’s worth my time right now. If your message doesn’t match that, it doesn’t belong there. The job isn’t to be everywhere. It’s to show up in the right place, in the right way.
Just because you can post something doesn’t mean you should.
